The Lonely Years

Throughout my life, neither long nor short at this point, I’ve struggled with being that girl alone in a crowded room. That familiar feeling that no matter what you do, those who could or would be your friends will never stick with you. So, when I was young, I started writing. Recently I made the brave decision to look at and revisit the girl who wrote through all those lonely years.
